The Mdee sisters are taking the East African scene by storm!
Vanessa Mdee and her sister Mimi Mars aka Marianne Mdee are killing it as East African artists and putting East Africa on the music map. They are both talented and beautiful, their hard work is now paying off and we are taking notes.
Here are three things we can learn from the Mdee sisters:
1. Quality not quantity
The sisters focus on producing quality videos and quality hit songs, doing this makes them a cut above the rest. What we should learn from this, is if you produce so much you will lose the quality of your work but instead, the focus should be on creating good content or producing great work that is enough to get everyone’s attention and in turn the right support.
The sisters are consistently making sure we know they are up to something even if they are not producing a song, they are performing somewhere. Maintaining consistency is the key to success and it is what will get others to notice you and often want to be associated with you because they can see you are going places because of what you’re doing.
3. Working together
The sisters have combined their efforts together with their other siblings and have formed Mdee Music. As the saying goes two heads are better than one, so when you’re doing something try and connect with other individuals, for alone you can only go so far but together you will go even further.
