Society is becoming more and more accepting of the LGBT community.

Though our African culture still condemns it, a lot of people have had the courage to come out announcing themselves gay or lesbian and a few lucky ones have not been treated any differently by the society around them. Gorgeous nude art photography model Lavender aka Purple Bloom, who is bisexual, had the courage to openly speak about her sexuality.

“These days people are open-minded about the issue, so there’s really no one on my side who’s treated me differently or criticized me. People say I’m too pretty to date the same sex and that I should try them first. However, I’m not gender-biased; I think sexuality is fluid, so whoever I find myself connected to, I go with the flow.”

“I haven’t really ditched guys. Like I said sexuality is fluid. Everyone has the right to be interested in anyone. Right now I’m with a girl because we connect on a lot of levels. Doesn’t mean I wouldn’t date a guy.”
