If you have children old enough to play outdoors, make sure your house help knows who your children play with, their parents and where they live. You can’t be too careful nowadays.

You should tell your house help to call you only when there is an emergency. Other forms of communication should be done via text. This helps you distinguish whether it’s serious or not.
