1.Baby, lets Make a date and make it happen. .
The idea is to create one on one time with your boo a regular thing, one that is a priority and doesn’t get rubbed off. Chances are that you were both a bit busy before you gave birth and now ya’ll be taking turns working, sleeping, cleaning, feeding and caring for your little one. This means time spent as a couple is sacrificed. By planning a day to spend some quality time with your man, you’re making it a constant thing, which will have a massive impact on you, your man and your baby. So what do you say?
2. Show your affection. .
Remember when ya’ll would call/ text each other just to check up on how you’re doing and everything? well, that doesn’t need to stop. Nor do the gifts, dinners, trips of showing your love, just because.. I mean, keep the love alive. . ( This goes out to the men) spoil her, send her cute surprises, gifts. . even you ladies. . It’s a two-ationship. A little effort goes a long way.
3. Some time off. .
This applies to the both of you. You are both equally doing your roles as a father and mother and so, you both deserve some time off. . You can do it in turns. . You can take some time off to go catch up with your girlfriends, shop, go do your hair, go to the spa. . and vice versa. Consider both your needs and time as important.
4. Approach conflict gently. .
It’s really easy to blow up at each other when you’re exhausted and really angry. We get it…Its exhaustion…but that doesn’t mean you both kill each other with words.. placing blame and insults on your man, he is likely to attack back or walk away. I mean, ya’ll just seriously need to take a chill pill. Talk things out calmly and try understand each other.
Having a baby and raising a child is a full-time job. But that doesn’t mean everything in your life gets put on hold. It simply means that, you make a few adjustments here and there, that are accommodating to you and your mans and baby. There is no need to throw away something amazing and beautiful over some misunderstandings.
