Christmas should be renamed the food-pocalypse.
People go offff! So much food and so little time to eat. I mean the amount of alcohol and food that is put for that 2 weeks of Holidays is honestly insane. If it’s fatty and made from fried dough, you will eat it among other things that are not good for you. Here are a few places to buy organic produce so you can be healthy again in January.
Great news, you can order a basket online and it will be delivered to your doorstep. I mean… who wants to go all the way to the supermarket. You can choose a basket with assorted herbs, preserves and vegetables and then sit back and wait for your order to arrive
2. Kalimoni greens
This is perhaps the largest organic store and they are available online and do deliveries. You get to choose from 4 pre-selected baskets that include a fruit box or a vegetable box and sometimes a salad. They also have natural butter for those feeling super duper health conscious in 2019. The baskets go for anywhere between 1,000 to 2000kshs. They also have the best juice selection if you are thinking about juicing.
Mlango farm does not deliver people. However, you can pick up a basket of seasonal produce for only 800shs at different locations in Loresho, Riverside, Spring Valley and Rhapta Road. You can also visit the farm In Limuru as a date with that guy you’ve been crushing for the whole of 2018.
Have a great time at Christmas and eat to your hearts but remember that if you want your waistline and health back, you have to eat your greens. Tell us in the comments, what you eat to bounce back after eating badly during Christmas. Sharing is caring.
