Speaking about fun events….
Single Malt Scotch Whisky Glenmorangie’s Global Brand Ambassador Mr. Hamish Torrie recently made his first visit to Kenya. During his visit, he hosted a whisky tasting event at the Villa Rosa Kempinski on the 1st of November. He also met with key personalities and single malt lovers.
In his speech during the event, Mr. Hamish Torrie was full of praise for Kenya:
For Glenmorangie single malt we see Kenya as the lead country in the region where the growth opportunity is very exciting – Kenya has the potential to be our lighthouse market in East Africa.
There he is…..the man, the myth, the legend.
Glenmorangie is one of the most popular whiskeys in the world. It has been voted Master Distiller of the Year by the International Wines & Spirits Council twice in a row.
For over 40 years, Glenmorangie has been a pioneer of wood expertise and maturation process of whisky in the best barrels. There are three main types of Glenmorangie namely: Origina, Lasanta and Quinta.
Mr. Hamish Torrie was not done praising Kenya. He added:
During this visit, I have been hugely impressed by the knowledge and enthusiasm Kenyans have demonstrated for Single Malt Whisky and in particular Glenmorangie.
Glenmorangie Single Malt Scotch Whisky originates in the Scottish Highlands where, at the Glenmorangie Distillery, it is distilled in the tallest malt whisky stills in Scotland for a pure and fragrant spirit, expertly matured in the finest oak casks for great depth, and perfected by the Men of Tain. The Distillery was founded in 1843 and is renowned as a pioneer in its field, uniting tradition with innovation.
