Kenya’s music scene lies under the hard work of the likes Jua Cali, Nonini, Necessary Noize among others.
Most of the artists that made hits in the early to late 2000s are nowhere to be seen but their music stays alive. When you hear someone say ”Kumbe ni under 18!” you automatically start singing Jimwatt’s hit song Under 18 because it was that catchy. Most of these artists are now busy raising families, running businesses and touring the country but their music still lives on.
