Why are some men so cruel?

Bridget Achieng is the newest celebrity mum in town. And after giving birth, she has finally opened up about the mistreatment she got from her baby daddy while pregnant.

Guess what? The man was Nigerian. Hmmmmm. Ladies, you have been warned time and time again about Nigerian men.

Bridget talked about the man’s cruelties through her YouTube channel in a video titled ‘message to my baby daddy.’ Interestingly, she still gave the baby a Nigerian name – Sekani Rich Opeyemii.

Apparently, the man has never contacted her since he left.

Since I got pregnant I haven’t been taking interviews because I don’t want my story to be twisted. I got abandoned with the pregnancy at three months old. Since my baby daddy left, I have never set my eyes on him and he has never contacted me.

Apparently, the man wanted her to terminate the pregnancy but she wanted to keep it.

When you asked me to terminate my pregnancy when I was three months pregnant I was all alone, disturbed and depressed. I don’t know what made you go away, I don’t know what made you run away. I kept looking at myself in the mirror and asking ‘am I ugly? I’m doing this because a lot of girls out there need to hear it.

However, she insists that she has found peace over the course of her pregnancy.

Carrying this baby for the past nine months has been a dream come true. I don’t know why God chose you to be my child’s father over the other guys who treated me better.Wherever you are, I just want you to know that I will never hold it against you. But I just want to say thank you for giving me my son.

By the way, we need to talk about this issue of women ignoring guys who treat them better and going after bad boys instead. What’s usually the problem?
