Ngeli ya Genge!
Growing up in Kenya we should all be thankful for being alive at a time when Kenyan music was in its early stages of conception with the likes of Juacali and Mejja paving the way for the next generation of music.
They obviously rapped about their personal experiences during their day to day lives as the stories they told really hit home.
The following songs are the most relatable in the sense that they actually explain our struggles as the youth;
1. Kiasi – Juacali.
2. Landlord – Mejja.
3. Tuendelee – Kleptomaniax.
We are totally ready for next year, it’s time to build our bank accounts.
