Apparently, this household item can contribute to your hair growth!

Did you know that Vaseline can be used to achieve hair growth? Well, now you do. This regular household item is a winner when it comes to hair growth. Some people naturally have long hair, but the rest of us, have to put in extra effort to grow our hair which feels so unfair and tedious. Well, apparently Vaseline can help with some of us on that journey!  One of the simplest ways to boost your hair’s level of health and growth is to keep it moisturized. While there are many products on the market sold to do this, Vaseline can be used in their place with similar effects at a much lower cost. For real!

How To Use Vaseline On Your Hair:

1. Use

While applying a very small amount of Vaseline to the ends of the hair for moisture is beneficial, you can encourage hair growth further by massaging a minimal amount of Vaseline to the scalp. The stimulation of the scalp has been shown to encourage hair growth.

2. Time

For the highest benefit, apply Vaseline at night before going to bed to allow it to penetrate the hair and scalp. Use this no more than one time per week. Pillows can be protected by applying a plastic shower cap over the hair.

3. Removal of Vaseline.

You’ll notice that Vaseline can leave hair with a greasy, unattractive appearance, so we recommend you remove it by washing hair thoroughly with a clarifying shampoo. If the oil is stubborn, a teaspoon of baking soda can be added to shampoo to remove residue.

There you have it! Will you take up this challenge and see for yourself how your hair will grow after the Vaseline treatment? Have you tried it and found it doesn’t work for your hair? Either way we would love to hear about it.
