Pregnancy comes with a lot of emotions; happiness, excitement, fear and for some, deeply set insecurities that can lead to low self-esteem if allowed to.

One woman who’s experienced this is songstress Habida Moloney.

Habida has always been open about her personal struggles. This time she is talking about how giving birth to her son through CS was one of the toughest times in her life.

“I have insecurities and especially after I had my son. I had to have a cesarean and I believe deep in my heart I didn’t need to. Medicine is about money these days. Anyway, I did have insecurities and sometimes they creep back in!”

But she’s a tough nut to crack!

In a long post on social media, Habida revealed how much she struggled with her incision and stretch marks.

However, a strong woman willed to shine to the end, she made up her mind to fight back. Even better, she’s going to show us how!

She said,

“My stretch marks and incision have changed who I AM. I have chosen to beat my fear and I will show you how I have done this soon. I do this to inspire and empower because I AM who I SAY I AM. After pleasing God no one else matters in terms of what they think of me. This is so freeing and empowering, so much so I wish to share it with anyone who will listen. I AM BEAUTIFUL! I AM BLESSED! I AM WHOLE! I AM PERFECT! I AM AMAZINGLY MADE! I could go on and on but I think you get it! #dearsuperwoman #kenya #blessed #womenempowerment #love”
