Psalm 17:6

Call on you, my God, for you will answer me; turn your ear to me and hear my prayer.

Learn to pray for everything be it for yourself, your family, your relationship and your work. If you develop these traits when you’re single learn to carry them forth when your dating and when you end up having a family too. If you put God at the centre of everything you cannot be shaken.

1 Thessalonians 5: 17

Pray without ceasing.

We live a life where our battles are of a spiritual affair so it calls for us to not tire in prayer because that is what will hold us when everything wrong wants to shake us.

Matthew 18:20

For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.

Get you a praying squad that you trust, come together on a weekly basis and pray about your families, your struggles and your desires. When you come together in agreement then as it says in the verse the Lord will surely answer. Also when you have people you can pray with, they will certainly hold you up in prayer when you’re so overwhelmed and unable to pray for yourself.

Mahatma Gandhi puts it best by defining prayer as being the key we need in the morning and the bolt of the evening. So learn to have a prayerful and more importantly thankful heart for even in adversity you will still find the blessing.
