BBC Launches Nigerian Broadcast In Pidgin And We Cannot Handle Our Laughter

Wonders will never cease, you know Nigerians are representing Africa everywhere you look, be it music, art or plain tomfoolery.

You can imagine our surprise when media house BBC launched a Pidgin English section on their website where Nigerians and other West Africans can read news in their broken English slang.

We know BBC already has a Swahili broadcast to represent East Africa but imagine if they did it in sheng also. This may come as good news to many Nigerians but for us it is the way Pidgin sounds when you read it, so hilarious, it’s like reading a script off a Lagos based movie. See below, make sure you read it out loud so you can have the rib crack of a lifetime.

I mean, the world just got a little brighter. Of course Nigerians gave their 2 cents on this new development:

You bet!

You can use it to brighten your day

Loool! it’s crazy!

People should learn how to be proud of their culture

You dey complain too much

Someone at BBC give her a job!

Tell them ooo!

This is pure genius, some of us will be regulars on the BBC Pidgin broadcast. See this Nigerian Bishop Claims He Can Enlarge Any Sexual Organ,
