Apparently Boy In The Middle Of H&M Racism Drama Has Kenyan Roots…

H&M racism- Zumi
H&M was earlier this week under attack after putting up a photo which people thought was racist.

The photo was of a black boy modelling a hoodie with the message ‘Coolest Monkey in the Jungle’ and they got a lot of backlash about this. Now, a Kenyan woman, Terry Mango, has claimed to be the mother of the boy and actually did not have a problem with the message.

“I am the mum and this is one of the hundreds of outfits my son has modeled. Stop crying wolf all the time. Get over it. If I bought the jumper and put it on him and posted it on my pages would that make me racist? I get people’s opinions but they are not mine.”

Trust something good to come out of all this, though. According to media reports, the boy was offered a sh103 million modeling contract by P Diddy with his clothing line Sean John. Lucky little guy!
